You’re getting married! Now what?

Booking Info:
How far in advance can we make a booking?
You can book with me up to 12 months in advance, keep in mind that a new year will have a different price range.
How can we go about making a booking?
You can make a booking my contacting me with your date. I will confirm if the date is available and then forward you an official quotation with all the details. The date is then secured with a 30% booking fee. And then you are all set :)
We live abroad (or in another Province or Town) and won’t be able to meet before the wedding?
We are more than welcome to setup a video chat to discuss all the details for your wedding and answer any questions you may have. I was able to assist a bride that was getting married in Cape Town while she was living in Belgium, communication went smoothly and we eventually met in person two weeks before the wedding.
Wedding Day:
Will you be able to help us plan a timeline for our day?
Definitely! We will set up a meeting to discuss all your details and I can assist with a plan for the day.
What time should we set our ceremony in order to get the best couple photos?
The best time in summer is late afternoon, you can also check the sunset time online and work from there. If you need help, you can most definitely ask and I can send you an example itinerary.
If we run out of time, can we add more hours on the wedding day?
Definitely! I know that not everything may go as planned so if you require me to stay longer, it will definitely be possible. The extra hours will be invoiced after the wedding.
Do you have a second shooter?
Yes I do. She will come along for some of the packages that include a second shooter. Her duties will be to capture the groom preparation, guests mingling and assisting with the bridal party/couple shoot. This will also include extra photos in your package.
We don’t know what to do in front of the camera. Will you be able to help?
Of course! I live for the moments I get to tell my dry jokes to make you laugh and feel comfortable, hehe.
How many photos can we expect to receive?
Between 300-700 depending on the package/number of hours.
My wedding is a little different. Do you offer custom packages?
Of course! Feel free to send me a message and we can chat.
Admin stuff:
Where are you based?
I am based in Bellville, Cape Town.
How far do you travel and do we need to cover accommodation?
I can travel anywhere! For traveling further than 40km there is an extra fee added and calculated according to the AA rate. If the distance is further than 100km, accommodation will need to be arranged for me and my assistant/second shooter to ensure a safe journey.
Do we need to provide a seat for you at the reception venue?
Yes, please. If there is a service provider table, we would prefer that it be close to the reception area so that we don’t miss any moments if the MC were to start with the itinerary.
Can we purchase photobooks and prints after the wedding?
Definitely! You can let me know and we can discuss it further. I will also have a backup of your images should you wish to only order a few months later.
Techy Stuff:
What camera do you shoot with?
I shoot with a Nikon D750 and have the Tamron 24-70mm lens & 50mm portrait lens.
Do you back up the wedding photos?
Yes. I have multiple hard drives to back up the raw files on two separate locations.
For how long do you back up the wedding photos?
For a maximum period of a year.
Do you have lighting equipment?
I do have speedlights which I mainly use during the reception and for creative couple shoots after sunset.
